Day 2 – A little easier with an interesting realization

So I planned better for Day 2!  A grocery store run and dinner with leftovers definitely helped Day 2 go smoother.  Since I didn’t have to think about what I was going to eat, I started to notice how I was feeling.  I kept thinking I was hungry because I didn’t “feel full”.   As I started to pay attention to this feeling, I realized it wasn’t that I was hungry (stomach growling, etc) I just didn’t feel “full”  – meaning I didn’t feel stuffed and inflated in my stomach.  I was perfectly satisfied but my brain was telling me I needed to eat to get to that “full” feeling, not to a satisfied, no longer hungry feeling.  Until I processed these feelings yesterday, I did go through my planned snacks too fast and had to cheat and eat a box of raisins again and I had my sweet tea, which is a given! I’m not ready to give that up yet!!

To clarify for those of you that have asked, ‘No Label”doesn’t mean it can’t come in a box, package, etc.  It just means that the label should only list the 1 ingredient contained in the package.  Unfortunately, we can’t grow all our food so we do need to buy it in containers.  For example, the ingredients on the back of almonds should just list: almonds.  Or the quinoa should just list: whole grain quinoa.  The oatmeal container should just say: whole grain oats.  Make sense?

Oh boy!!! I do believe Taxaco is

out!!! Great plan of yours! I can’t wait to see how your week ends. The menu sounds like the scardsdale diet which Chuck and I love. Good vegs and protein. When I hear from Joy, I will get back to you about tonight. Hugs
